Dive into the Night: Dubai Opens Three New Beaches for After-Dark Swimming
As the temperatures rise with the approach of summer, there's a refreshing new way to cool off in Dubai. In a significant move to boost beach tourism and enhance the city's vibrant nightlife, Dubai Municipality has officially opened three beaches for night swimming, offering residents and tourists a unique opportunity to take a dip under the stars.

Located in Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, and Umm Suqeim, each of these three beaches stretches over 800 metres and is well-lit with strong floodlights that illuminate the sea, enabling beachgoers to swim safely after dark. Alongside this, electronic displays provide important safety information to ensure everyone can enjoy their nocturnal swim with peace of mind. Qualified lifeguards are on duty from sunset to sunrise, further ensuring the safety of all visitors.

This move is part of Dubai Municipality’s ongoing efforts to transform Dubai into the world’s premier destination to live and visit, as envisioned by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

As Dawoud Al Hajri, director general of Dubai Municipality, stated, “The new facilities will further raise Dubai’s status as a beach-tourism destination. Dubai Municipality will continue to develop the emirate’s picturesque beaches into some of the city’s most compelling outdoor attractions.”

For all of us at Kook Camping, this is excellent news. We're always looking for new ways to help our customers enjoy the great outdoors, and night swimming in Dubai provides yet another exciting option. After a day of exploring or a night of camping, what could be better than a refreshing swim in the sea under the moonlight?

If you're not yet ready to venture into the sea after sunset, the city’s beaches are still open until evening for those who prefer staying on the sand. Along with these three new spots, Sunset Beach in Dubai also permits night swimming, with after-dark dips allowed until midnight.

As always, Dubai Municipality encourages all beachgoers to respect beach rules and regulations, including supervising children at all times, disposing of rubbish responsibly, and following instructions given by official lifeguards.

So pack your swimsuits and join us for a unique outdoor experience in Dubai. Whether you're a resident or a tourist, Kook Camping is here to help you make the most of these new night-swimming opportunities. Let's make some unforgettable memories together under the Dubai stars!
